Product Owner

Location: Skopje (on-site)
Team: Product
Reports to: Product Owner Lead
Working hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00 CET

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on, execution-driven Product Owner who takes ownership and gets things delivered.

This is not a strategy-heavy product management role. You won't spend months researching opportunities, developing elaborate roadmaps, or coordinating large teams.

You'll work directly with developers, QA, designers, and other stakeholders to turn customer needs into working software, prioritize what matters, remove ambiguity and ship improvements fast.

Our products are already live and used by large global enterprise customers. Your work will have a direct impact on real users, existing customer commitments, and the continuous evolution of our platform.

We value ownership over titles, execution over presentations, and shipped functionality over perfect documentation.

What You'll Own

Product Planning & Execution

  • Define and prioritize product requirements aligned with business goals.

  • Translate requirements into clear user stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria for a team of 5+ developers.

  • Manage the product backlog, ensuring items are well-prepared for development.

  • Contribute to release planning and coordinate product launches.

Documentation & Communication

  • Write and maintain technical documentation, including:

    • Knowledge base articles for customers and internal teams

    • Release notes for product launches and updates

    • Feature specifications and process documentation

  • Share product updates with internal teams (sales, marketing, customer success) to enhance product knowledge and positioning.

  • Conduct product demos, stakeholder presentations, and roadmap discussions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with engineering, design, sales, and marketing to support feature delivery.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives).

  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure alignment.

Stakeholder & Customer Engagement

  • Participate in client discussions, demos, and feedback sessions when needed.

  • Gather and document customer feedback to inform product decisions.

Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor product performance and contribute ideas for enhancements.

  • Identify risks and dependencies in product development and help mitigate them.

  • Stay informed on SaaS and technology trends to strengthen product knowledge.

What We're Looking For

Ownership is the most important qualification.

  • Execution-first mindset: You prefer building, solving, and shipping over prolonged analysis and planning

  • Strong ownership: You take responsibility for results, follow through and don't wait for someone to tell you what to do next

  • Operational discipline: You can manage multiple priorities, maintain an organized backlog, and keep delivery on track

  • Speed and judgment: You know when information is sufficient to move forward and when clarification is genuinely necessary

  • Technical understanding: You can communicate effectively with software engineers and understand the fundamentals of software development

  • Clear communication: You can translate business needs into requirements developers can act on.

  • Comfort with feedback: You adapt quickly, accept constructive criticism, and focus on improving results.

  • Pragmatism: You understand that delivering a useful solution on time often matters more than designing a perfect one too late.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related technical discipline (preferred)

  • Ideally 1–3 years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Delivery, or similar role in a software environment. Strong entry-level candidates with relevant practical experience will also be considered

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog management

  • Experience using Azure DevOps or similar tools

  • Good understanding of SaaS products and software development workflows

  • Strong written and spoken English

  • Experience with enterprise software, SAP, Oracle, or HR technology is an advantage, not a requirement
